A striking evergreen conifer, the gently curling branches of Boulevard are covered with sprays of silvery-blue foliage. During colder spells the foliage takes on shades of reddish bronze that make this a great specimen tree throughout the year. Slow growing its incredibly easy to grow requiring little maintenance. With its soft, silvery-blue evergreen foliage, curling gently at the tips of the branches, Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Boulevard' makes a magnificent specimen tree. But it is so slow to grow and so attractive when young, that it is suitable even for small gardens. In a particularly cold period, the foliage of this Sawara Cypress turns a lovely shade of bronze.
